 1.     We use ‘used to’ when we refer to things in the past which are no longer true. It can refer to repeated actions, or to a state or situation: He used to play football for the local team but he’s too old now.

 

2.     We use ‘may’ to express a wish or hope: May she rest in peace.

1.     Compose your own examples with ‘used to’ to express what you did in the past but do not do anymore, e.g.: I used to smoke but I gave up a few years ago.
